We are Abbey

Street Methodist Church - you will find us just 75 metres from O'Connell Street, opposite the Red Luas Line Stop.

We are a multi-ethnic, all age congregation with members from over 20 countries. Please come and visit, you will receive a warm welcome.

Our hope is to be a growing church as people come to personal faith in Christ. We want people to have the opportunity to use their God given gifts and talents in the life of our church and the wider community.

We believe that God heals people, physically, spiritually and emotionally and that prayer works.  As a visible sign of this confidence, a Service for Healing and Wholeness, open to all, is held each Wednesday.  We have a prayer team who organise a regular prayer groups and prayer chains. Requests from members and visitors can be made anonymously and we will commit to pray for you during difficult times.

First broadcast in May 2011, RTE's Documentary on ONE made a programme about the life and work of DCM on Abbey Street, you can listen to the result here:  "12 Steps on Abbey Street"
